Motion compensated reconstructions compared to baseline helical CT scans.
Motion compensated reconstructions compared to baseline helical CT scans.

We’ve recently published a new paper “A longitudinal four-dimensional computed tomography and cone beam computed tomography dataset for image-guided radiation therapy research in lung cancer” in Medical Physics. This paper is the first published in a new format, Medical Physics Datasets Articles, which describe publicly-available datasets for medical physics research. Our dataset is a set of 4D CT and 4D cone beam CT images collected during chemoradiotherapy in 20 lung cancer patients. The dataset includes over 580 4D images along with physician-delineated targets and organs at risk.

The dataset can be found at the NIH Cancer Imaging Archive as the 4D Lung collection.

The paper is available through Medical Physics’ website.
